Visiting Filming Locations of "Night on Earth" (1991) in Paris, France / Rome, Italy / Helsinki, Finland


Written and Directed by Jim Jarmusch.
Starring Winona Ryder, Armin Mueller-Stahl, Béatrice Dalle, Roberto Benigni and Matti Pellonpää.

An anthology of 5 different cab drivers in 5 American and European cities and their remarkable fares on the same eventful night.

Jarmusch wrote the screenplay in about eight days, and the choice of certain cities was largely based on the actors with whom he wanted to work.

Filmed on location in Los Angeles, New York, Paris, Rome and Helsinki.
